Log Book/Inspections

Manufactuers Warranty, Pink Slip (eSafety), Registration

Your logbook contains all the information for your vehicle’s service requirements that our qualified technicians require to perform a precise and comprehensive service that examines your vehicle in the way the manufacturer intended.
You do not need to visit the service center or dealership of your car manufacturer to maintain its warranty? It is your legal right to select from where your car is serviced or repaired, even though you are going in for scheduled logbook visits. This means that you can get your car in our workshop for servicing without even voiding the warranty of your manufacturer. Let our qualified and experienced mechanics take complete care of the next logbook servicing and keep the car in tip-top shape.
Logbook servicing tends to be the minimum servicing that your manufacturer needs to maintain the warranty of your car. You are needed to complete the logbook service at specified intervals within your warranty period like every six months. Once a logbook service is done, our expert mechanics will validate the service logbook so that you can easily maintain the warranty and also keep a track of the maintenance record of the car.

WHAT IS A PINK SLIP OR ESAFETY CHECK?
A pink slip inspection report verifies your car is safe and ready for the road. It is required in New South Wales for your vehicle to be inspected, as a condition of registration renewal, if it is more than five years old. An eSafety inspection (or pink slip as it is also known) is required for all light vehicles older than 5 years for the purposes of registration renewal within in NSW.eSafety inspections are performed at authorised inspection stations with the results electronically lodged with the Roads and Maritime Services (RMS).

Your registration renewal papers will state whether or not you need an inspection.

Areas for inspection include:

Brake efficiency test
Tyre quality and tread depth
Vehicle body condition
Working electrics such as headlights, blinkers, interior lights and dash lights
Engine/suspension/exhaust and driveline condition
Seatbelt condition
Engine and driveline fluid leaks

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY VEHICLE FAILS ITS INSPECTION?
If your car fails its initial roadworthy inspection, a white slip failure notice will be issued by the inspector, this allows the vehicle’s owner to have the necessary repairs undertaken for the purposes of re-inspection within 14 days. Additional charges do not apply for a pink slip re-inspection provided the vehicle is returned to the same inspection station. A new eSafety (pink slip) inspection will be required if the necessary repairs are not carried out within this time time frame.
